Roof Trusses For March
March 3, 2009

Discussions in January and February with the contractor, Jeff Woodward, and architect, Carol Miller, led to a decision on February 22, 2009, to have the roof trusses for the Mini-Museum built by First Colony Homes in Calverton, Virginia. This decision was based on saving money in material and labor costs of putting the roof on in March when the roof trusses will be ready for pick-up and installation. First Colony Homes is providing the trusses at their cost to build them.
On March 3, 2009, First Colony Homes in Calverton, Virginia completed the construction of the Mini-Museum roof trusses. Once the weather improved, Jeff Woodward started installing the trusses on March 20.
